Double wins for the Eagles over Berthoud as both Varsity and JV come out on top. In the Varsity game, Gray turned in a gritty performance on the mound, going six and one-third innings while allowing just three earned runs and striking out six. Odremán and Gabbert came up big at the plate, each collecting two hits and driving in runs alongside Kiser. Z. Blehm came in to secure the final two outs. In the JV matchup, Pulley led the charge with three hits and two RBIs, while Pollacek and Hallenbeck added early runs. Sutherland was dominant in relief, striking out nine over four shutout innings.

The Wellington Varsity Eagles earned a 6-4 win over Berthoud on Saturday behind a complete game from Weedin, who struck out seven and walked just one over seven innings. Kiser led the offense with two RBIs. The Eagles took control in the third inning and held on for the victory.

In JV action, the Eagles fell 13-6 despite outhitting Berthoud 8-5. McMillan tallied three hits, and Schweitzer drove in two runs with a 2-for-3 performance at the plate. #BeRelentless #EveryGameInningPitch #EaglesBaseball #LetsGo

"As the season closes, the theme is clear: Gratitude. This C-Team grew every day by leaning into chemistry, communication, concentration, and coachability. They took ownership of their development, supported each other, and stayed focused on getting better. Not just as players, but as teammates and young men.

But don’t take my word for it; here’s what they are thankful for:

• Positive coaching
• Playing with all my friends
• Getting to try new positions
• The food from the booster club
• Making new friends
• Good team chemistry

It’s been one of the most rewarding groups I’ve ever had the privilege to coach. Proud of this team and the season we shared."
